Starting from Elmer's on I-205 & Stark the ride heads south into the Willamette Valley, skirts Silverton taking the back roads past Silver Falls State Park then down to a gas stop at Mehama where we cross OR Hwy 22. Passing through nearby Lyons then over to Scio and Jefferson the route takes back roads staying east of the Buena Vista Ferry and through the Ankeny Wildlife Refuge to the Chase Bar & Grill at 1083 Monmouth St, Independence, OR. After lunch, the route returns to OR Hwy 22 west of Salem via Eola and north on Spring Valley Road to Dayton via Hopewell and Webfoot Rd.
